The school was highly commended in the School Environmental Competition section of the Tidy Towns Competition. Prizes were presented at an award ceremony in the Seven Oaks Hotel on Wednesday 28th September. The school was represented by Ms. Tully, who collected a trophy and €30 in prize money. Many thanks to Mrs. Farrell  and to all the Green Schools committee for all their hard work, to Mr. David Walker, our caretaker, and to all staff and pupils who work hard in order to keep our school clean and tidy.
