We are fortunate to have a vibrant enthusiastic Parents’ Group who:-
- Foster co-operation and communication between school and home. A delegated member of the Parents’ Group may convey general views or concerns of the parents to the Principal and Board of Management.
- Help promote and assist in extra curricular activities.
- Inform parents of educational developments.
- Help fund the provision of school requisites.
All parents of children who attend Holy Family Askea G.N.S. are considered to be members of the Parents' Group. At the A.G.M. each year a committee is selected. We encourage your involvement with our Parents’ Group. We appreciate and support their work, and we are happy to help with their activities.

Parents' Room
We are very fortunate to have a Parents’ room in our school. This room is a hive of activity each day, being used by parents and pupils. Some of the activities that take place include:
· Art classes for parents
· English language classes for parents
· Cookery classes for parents and pupils
· Horticulture classes for parents
· Jewellery making classes for parents
· Pilates for parents
· Information seminars for parents
